Wanted

My husband is M I A... I haven't really seen him for over 2 weeks...Well I guess we sat next to each other in sacrament meeting...and I guess he sleeps next to me...but it feels like I haven't seen him for far too long and that means I spend WAY too much time browsing the internet during Lulu's nap time.
I have full carts on multiple websites.  I just throw whatever I want in the cart... I am very surprised that I haven't bought too much. (just a pair of shoes and a new hair straightener... so far...) Anthropologie, J Crew, Kate Spade, Gap, Etsy, Janie and Jack, Jacadi, Target, Old Navy, obviously Amazon, Serena and Lily, Wisteria, Boden, mini Boden, Calico Corners, Ballard Designs, Ikea, Jet Blue, Apple, Craigslist, Bliss, ...and the list goes on.  It never ends!
I have found new spring/summer wardrobes for me and Eloise, a new apartment, furnishings and accessories for new apartment, a car, a rental in the Hamptons, far away vacations, outfits for vacations, a new wedding ring, a wedding dress, baby shoes (Tip Toey Joey is a new discovery that I love...and of course too expensive), baby walkers, baby dolls, baby float devices for warm destinations, where to go get a wax for warm destinations, should probably get a massage while I'm there, and a mani/pedi, brunch reservations, too many shoes, bags (I still don't own a purse...), mac book, iPad, new iPhone cover, now I want a desktop too, and a desk (don't worry, my new apartment will have an office), cute bikes, baby seat for bikes, a car seat, a baby leash, baby proofing necessities, a nanny,...
It needs to stop... before I start shopping online for a new husband...
I need to stick to the old fashioned walking to the store.  The walking, the trying things on, the rude sales people, the lines, not having the right sizes, the physical act of carrying piles of stuff, the act of getting it home on the subway, the fitting it somewhere in my small apartment... it all keeps me much more practical in my purchases...  Except with Jcrew and Gap -which are just across the street from me, so I just have to go make returns there a lot...after I realize I'm not rich...
Anyway, online shopping- it is dangerous. so I should probably just hurry and buy everything so I will stop...
Maybe my husband should just come home and stop me...

:( I feel for you! And I would love to say it will end, but it won't until Craig gets a new gig. You can handle 2 years of it easy, it's the 3rd that gets a little wearing, especially with kid number 2 in the picture. Enjoy the shopping in the mean time and I am SO excited you get a new place where lulu will be out of your face!

"So I should just hurry up and buy everything so it will stop" THAT IS FREAKING HILARIOUS.
