Trick or Treat

So Halloween was a week long- beginning with a school celebration on Saturday night, had to dress up at work on Tuesday and then on Halloween my friend Katy had us over for chili and cornbread and pumpkin carving. Very fun. Later in the evening we got some trick or treaters. We didn't have any candy so we turned off the lights and craig watched them through the peep hole... one of the kids stole our jack-o-lantern! so craig swings the door open and starts chasing down kids for our pumpkin. It was epic)
Craig and I were nerds this year. Katy was a BYU football player and Jeff was her biggest fan. Craig got very into character (I think the nerd thing comes very naturally to him). I was completely embarrassed by his behavior but couldn't help laugh at him and everyone at school said my husband was so cute and hilarious so i guess i might let him out in public again.
Last night we had Katy and Jeff over to our humble abode. I made sweet pork that was delicious (Thanks for the recipe Mandy), some rice and beans and the infamous blender salsa. It was a huge hit and so easy. Definitely a new favorite.

The costume is a little too fitting for Craig but it looks like fun. That is a favorite dinner at our house too!

I LOVE you for FINALLY posting. We have so missed you in this blog world. That picture of you two is totally gross. But, your hair looks like it's cute. Maybe now mom can stop worrying about it :)
