No Boys Allowed

The girls in my family went on a heavenly vacation last week. We went to Kiawah Island, South Carolina.  It was my first time ever in the south and I loved it! Charleston is such a cool city and Kiawah was the perfect getaway for us.
Girls trips can consist of many different things- ours consisted of tennis every morning, bike rides, beach bumming, cooking, antique shopping (window shopping), house shopping (our pretending to shop for houses quickly turned to falling in love with houses and wanting to buy them... poor real estate agent wasted his whole day on us), girl talk, american idol, trying to dance like Beyonce, and occasionally adopting a southern drawl when appropriate.
The weather was perfect- mid 70's all week. I found my dream home and plenty of antique furniture that I would be happy to fill it with... We liked pretending that we were actually in the market for a house and thought saying things like "this house is perfect for daddy" like a southern belle would keep our real estate agent convinced.  I got a nice suntan which I don't think happened ever last summer so I am hoping to be able to maintain... hard work. I was a little rusty on the tennis court but I gradually got my groove back.  Baby girl can't slow me down... although bike riding became somewhat uncomfortable. ouch.

I had so much fun and loved getting to see my sisters. I am so lucky to have sisters in law that are so awesome (on both sides) I love them all and have truly lucked out (from the stories my friends tell... it doesn't always work out so great) - Don't ruin it Cooper and Crew.
Thanks for planning the fun trip mom!!! Crossing my fingers this becomes a new tradition!

So glad you had a great time! I wanted to see some pix though! And yes, it should become an annual tradition!

Heaven. My favorite vacation ever. You're in big trouble for "tinkering" with my camera though, young lady : )
