Craig! I found your blog through Afton and it was cool so see what you are up to. We live just outside the city in New Rochelle. We moved here about 4 months ago. Loved the post by the way- I guess good speeches win over the guy who built hundreds of schools and orphanages in Afghanistan and Pakistan!
Craig, though we've never officially met, I can tell we're going to be fast friends. I think it might have wishful thinking on the committee's part.... "Hey maybe if we give him a prize, he'll actually do something." Thankfully, he's donating his 1.4 million prize money to charity. BTW, you and Tay are such a cute couple and I love reading your posts. Keep the good stuff comin'. :-)
Because he has learned from our top "financial geniuses" at Goldman Sachs! Do you think gambling on derivatives, trading bad mortgages, and then taking tax payer money to bail out these horrible decisions is worthy of getting pad all the money? I would rather see Obama give some money to the poor working class, even if some people abuse the system. Besides, when a poor person abuses the system they get a few extra food stamps, our financial industry steals millions and gets rewarded!
